Social Psychological Bulletin is the successor of the Polish subscription based journal Psychologia Społeczna [ISSN 1896–1800] which was published between 2006-2017 by Wydawnictwo Naukowe Scholar.

Since 2018, Social Psychological Bulletin is published as an open-access journal in cooperation with the PsychOpen GOLD publishing platform of the Leibniz Institute for Psychology (ZPID).

Social Psychological Bulletin (ISSN 2569-653X) is an official journal of the Polish Social Psychological Society (PSPS, Polskie Stowarzyszenie Psychologii Społecznej).
